Robert Altman

I didn't like that much of Altman's movies. I liked how all the movies had assasination and killing. I didn't like Nashville because Altman had too many characters. so it was hard memorizing their names and the events they did. but my favorite was the long goodbye. I liked this movie beccause the main character was funny. He was sometimes weird. and He smoked alot. I recommend this movie to anyone who likes to Alman's movie.

No Country For Old Men

I really enjoyed watching the Coen Brothers films. They were all good films. But my favorite one was no country for old men. This was my first time watching the movie and it was pretty good. I like how Anton Chigurh used his silent gun and his compressed air gun. That was a unique way that the Coen Brothers did. This movie was more violence then the other Coen brothers movie we watched. My second favorite was Raising Arizona. That was also the first time i watched it. I really liked it. It was pretty funny. I like how H.R keeps stealing stuff and keeps getting arrested. He never learns. I haven't watched any Coen Brothers Before but i might look into it now.

MEMENTO

I just got done watching Memento again. I already watched it once in Mr Klobuchar's class. But it was a good movie. The movie is directed by Christopher Nolan. The Main starring characters are Guy Pearce (Leonard), Carrie-Anne Moss (Natalie), Joe Pantoliano ( Teddy). and more other characters. The movie was released on October 11 2000. The movie basically about a man named Leonard trying to find the killer of his wife. But He struggles finding the murderer because his memory has been damaged do to head injury. He forgets what he has done every 1 min. so for him to remember he uses tatoo on his body. Leonard badly wants to revenge his wife murder. So he get help from both Teddy and Natalie but he doen't know who to trust.

Hotel Rwanda

I just got done watching Hotel Rwanda again.I watch it over and over because it is a good movie and it happened as a true story. Hotel Rwanda is directed by Terry George. and it was released on February 4 2005 the starring character are Paul Rusesabagina (Don Cheadle), Dube (Desmond Dube), Colonel Oliver (Nick Nolten), Tatiana Rusesabagina ( Sophie Okanedo) and more other characters. Paul is a Hutu hotel manager who took care of both Hutu's and Tutsi refugees during their struggle against the Hutu militia in Rwanda.Paul and his family observe neighbors being dragged from their homes and openly beaten in the streets. Paul favor with people of influence, bribing them with money and alcohol, seeking to maintain sufficient influence to keep his family safe.The UN Peacekeeping forces, led by Colonel Oliver are unable to take action against the Hutu militia, since they are forbidden to intervene in the genocide. When they try to escape they get ambushed and turned back. When Paul runs out of options he speaks to the Rwandan Army General, Augustin Bizimungu (Fana Mokoena) and when he doesn't have any thing to bribe him with, he blackmails him with threats of being tried as a war criminal. The family and the hotel refugees finally leave the hotel in a UN convoy, and they travel through retreating masses of refugees and militia to reach safety behind Tutsi rebel lines. Now Paul and Wifes and Kids are safe and they all live in Beligum.

MAX PAYNE

I just got done watching Max Payne. It was released on theatre October 17 2008. It is directed by John Moore. It was alright movie, but I didn't understand the end of the movie. The movie is about Mark Wahlberg plays as Max Payne, a cop who’s wife and child were murdered and he becomes an obsessed outcast in the police department. Max Payne has been reassigned to the "cold case" and still tries to determine who did it. Now, he spends his days digging through cold case files, and his nights tracking down unsuccessful leads. When a young woman named Natasha (Olga Kurylenko) is found murdered, the cops found payne's wallet in her hand, Now Payne is instantly a suspect. When his ex-partner (Donal Logue) also turns up dead,they put Officer Jim Bravura (Chris "Ludacris" Bridges) on Max's tail. Looking for answers, Max turns to his father's friend BB (Beau Bridges), now the head of security for the pharmaceutical company where his late wife worked, He soon teams up with Mona Sax (Mila Kunis) A girl who is trying to find the killer of her sister.(Natasha). Max Payne gets caught up in a murder mystery while he finally makes a break on who killed his family and what a drug has to do with it.

Friday

Friday is a movie I just got done watching it was released in 1995. The film is directed by F. Gary. Starring Ice Cube, Chris Tucker, and other people.The film revolves around lives of Craig Jones(Ice Cube) and Smokey (Chris Tucker), who must pay $200 to a drug dealer before 10:00 p.m. on Friday night. Craig and Smokey are two guys in Los Angeles hanging out on their porch on a Friday afternoon, smoking and drinking, looking for something to do. This two homies, Smokey & Craig, smoke up a dope dealer's weed and try to figure a way to get the $200 they owe the dope dealer by 10:00pm that night. In that time they smoke weed, get jacked, and they get shot at in a drive-by. Having fired from his job Craig smokes with smokey all of Friday Afternoon.

Rush Hour

I just got done watching Rush Hour, it was a good movie. Rush Hour, the 1998 action comedy directed by Brett Ratner, successfully blends two immensely different personalities. The film also works because it contains the perfect amount of action and comedy. it is basically about rescuing a kidnapped girl. Jackie Chan plays as Lee, the Hong Kong cop who flies to the United States to investigate the kidnapping of little Soo Yung (Julia Hsu), the daughter of Chinese consule and close friend Han (Tzi Ma). The problem is, the FBI want him out of the way so they can get the criminas themselves. So they get talking mouthed LAPD James Carter (ChrisTucker), to keep him away from the consule and show around the country.Chan and Tucker are truly opposites. Jackie is known for his modest demeanor and amazing physical abilities, but not for his amazing grasp of the English language. Chris is outspoken, a shameless motormouth that just will not shut up. The pairing of these two actors works well. Chan provides us with the action and Tucker provides us with the comic.In Rush Hour, Chan stars as Detective Inspector Lee, one of the best police officers in Hong Kong. He has recently confiscated millions of dollars worth of weapons, drugs, and important Chinese artifacts owned by one of the country’s most dangerous and powerful crime lords, named Juntao. He is the one who kidnapps the consule daughter and holds her for 50 million dollars. That's when Chris comes in to keep Jackie outof sight but it didn't work so well.
